Submission Guidelines
The Emissary is designed to deliver a message. An alternate and impactful perspective. A voice – your voice.
If you want to publish an article on our platform, please send an email to theemissarynews@gmail.com. We would love to hear your perspective on topics such as geopolitics, domestic politics, markets, history, culture, or anything you are passionate about!
Below you’ll find a few important guidelines
Requirements
- Make sure your email subject line is formatted – “SUBMISSION – Title – Your Name”
- Please send us a plain text version of your article in the email.
- Let us know what name you want us to give credit to – your actual name, a pseudonym, or anonymous contributor.
- Please cite your sources for anything controversial/data.
- Please keep a professional and tempered tone. We will not tolerate:
- Hateful and discriminatory statements about any ethnicities, religious groups, sexual orientations, etc…
- Ranting or whining language that meanders around central topics (or is exclusively the central topic).
Writing Tips
- Outline your points/article prior and keep your writing focused on your central arguments.
- Check out Grammarly for an automated editor and grammar suggestions!
- Make sure to include hyperlinks in your submissions to your citations.
- There is no word limit but please be concise in writing.
- We encourage you to include images in the post!
